Retrograde and direct stations are the moments Venus’s apparent motion along the ecliptic reaches zero. This calculator finds them by scanning Venus’s real ephemeris speed and bisecting each reversal to the station moment, then solves the shadow boundaries as longitude re-crossings of the station degrees. Three computed facts make a Venus retrograde personal. The house: the retrograde arc occupies one or two houses of your natal chart, naming the life area under review. The stations: if either station degree lands within a few degrees of your personal planets or angles, astrologers read the season as a direct personal transit. The passes: any natal point inside the arc is crossed exactly three times, and the calculator dates each pass, the sequence tradition reads as meet, review, resolve.
Venus retrogrades roughly every 19 months, staying retrograde for about 40 to 43 days each time, the least of any planet: Venus spends around 7 percent of its time retrograde, which is why astrologers treat each cycle as a distinct season rather than background noise.
